About

Designer and interior architect based in Oslo Norway.

Emma is an experienced interior architect and concept developer currently working with strategic development within spatial design. She holds a master degree in design from Oslo National Academy of The Arts and a Bachelor degree with honors in interior design from Kingston University London. Her master project “Boundary Beings and where to find them” was awarded with the Norwegian Directorate of public Construction and Property’s (Statsbyggs) student award for “Excellent interior architecture 2017” and nominated for Designer Saturdays “Best Talent Award 2017”.

As a designer she is interested in our emotional connection to the objects and environments we interact with, and what impact we as makers and designers of these elements have on both people and our surroundings. By bringing thoughts and ideas to life, the relationship between people, objects and space can generate new situations allowing us to continue developing solutions to progress and evolve.

As well as working to understand how the spaces, furniture and objects we surround ourselves with can be used as strategic tools for change, she is continuing to develop Skogkant and the invention of Boundary Beings.
